I remember when I was in Hollywood around, 1am… it was a 9(in the chart).. maybe even a 10. It was so weird. I’m used to a between 3 and 1, back home. And when I stayed near Florence, and it was at a 7ish.
I would go outside at night, and look at the sky.. see nearly no stars. It sucked. It’s weird how much you will miss something, when you payed no attention to it when you could.
Right after I moved back home to my parents house in the suburbs, I went outside for a cigarette one night and I was so surprised to see stars in the sky. It was nothing like the sky I had grown up with in the country, but I had gotten used to the pinkish city sky so seeing any stars was amazing.
